With more than 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, communications and event organization, Danielle brings both structure and spark to everything she does. As Co-Founder and General Manager of Alternative 138 GmbH, she leads strategy, partnerships and big-picture thinking — while still loving the buzz of a perfectly executed project.
Her career started in international marketing, sales and communications for brands such as O’Neill, Esprit, Gaastra and McGregor. From European PR strategy to global communications for the World Snowboard Tour, from athlete activation to large-scale event organization — she has worked at the intersection of brands, media, athletes and audiences across Europe and beyond.
In 2009, she founded Alternative Agency, specializing in winter and action sports as well as tourism marketing. What started as a focused niche grew into a strong international network and eventually co-founding Alternative 138 in 2016.
Danielle thrives on connecting people, ideas and opportunities. She believes the best communication is clear, authentic and just a little bit unexpected. She combines strategic clarity with hands-on experience, cultural sensitivity (Dutch directness and Hungarian emotion included), and the calm project management skills you naturally develop when raising two kids alongside international clients.
Her superpower? Turning complex communication challenges into structured plans — and keeping the atmosphere positive while doing so.
