I was born and raised surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding in Southern California. I have been living and working in the Southwest of France since graduating from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1994, and two years studying French at the Université de Bordeaux III from 1991 to 1993.

I have extensive work experience in the action sports industry, including the following jobs: surf instructor, surf shop salesman, sales rep, co-owner of a distribution & distribution management company, team manager, freelance journalist, event announcer (live & broadcast), translator (English/French), action sports voice overs, script writer, marketing & communication consultant, editor at Onboard European Snowboard Magazine, marketing director at Quiksilver Europe, president of Association of Surfing Professionals Europe, editor/presenter of the EpicTV Surf Report, webcast presenter for the Freeride World Tour.

Current and past clients include but are not limited to: Swatch, Quiksilver, O’Neill, Rip Curl, Burton, Billabong, Volcom, Nike 6.0, Red Bull, Association of Surfing Professionals, TTR / World Snowboard Tour, IMG, Quattro Media, The Arctic Challenge, Verbier Xtreme, Freeride World Tour, as well as Vignobles Lassagne and Château Trapaud wineries.
