Lars Wich

Before becoming a freelance PR Consultant and copywriter, Lars worked at rasoulution for four years, a marketing/pr agency specialized in mountain biking, with sports being his private passion. Besides taking care of communication for diverse clients, events, tourism resorts and athletes, Lars gathered a lot of experience in social media marketing and communication. Communication concepts, organizing press trips, coordinating press interviews with athletes, establishment and maintenance of media relations were among his many tasks. Working at diverse big MTB events like the X Games 2013 in Munich and the Red Bull District Ride 2011 and 2014 or the UCI Mountainbike Downhill World Cup in Saalfelden Leogang, he got to know many world class riders and industry influencers personally, which gives him an in-depth knowledge of and experience in the mountain biking scene.

In 2009 he got his degree in Sciences of Politics at the LMU in Munich, followed by a one-year traineeship in a mainstream PR agency. After having learned the set of tools of classic PR, it was time to link that knowledge with his own passion, making work so much easier and convincing.

At the beginning of 2015, Lars started working as a freelancer and got to work for diverse clients due to a good networking base within the extreme sports scene. Among various clients, he works for the PR and Marketing agency Alternative 138, the event series of Nine Knights, YT Industries, Artist management for Büro Bachmeier, and sometimes contributes action sports-related articles for the Munich-based newspaper Abendzeitung.
